On September 10, 2025, a delegation from the Management Committee of the Xinwu Economic Development Zone in Wuhu City, Anhui Province, visited Liujing Technology Group Co., Ltd. (Liyang, Jiangsu) for an inspection and study tour, accompanied by relevant leaders from Zhuze Town. The purpose of this visit was to gain a deeper understanding of the ongoing efforts to rectify and upgrade the casting industry, thereby promoting green and sustainable development within the sector.

Liujing Technology Group Co., Ltd. was established in August 2012 and is a national-level high-tech enterprise specializing in the comprehensive utilization of all kinds of casting waste, including spent sand, slag, and ash. It has earned recognition as a national-level green factory and a national "Specialized, Fine, Differentiated, and Innovative" Little Giant enterprise. Currently, the company operates five major bases located in Liyang, Jiangsu; Liuzhou, Guangxi; Changchun FAW; Hefei, Anhui; and Weifang, Shandong. Through advanced recycling technologies, Liujing transforms spent casting sand into recycled sand and coated sand, while turning casting slag and ash into innovative products such as agricultural water-retention granules, high-end green building materials, ceramic sand, and fire-resistant coatings—effectively enabling casting plants to achieve zero solid-waste emissions.

During the inspection, the delegation led by officials from Anhui Xinwu Economic Development Zone focused on understanding Zhuze Town’s current plan for upgrading and rectifying its existing casting enterprises, as well as the progress and effectiveness achieved so far. They also examined the status of process equipment and environmental protection facilities being upgraded or renovated across the zone’s casting companies. Liujing Technology Group showcased its innovative technological advancements in energy conservation and emission reduction, including highly efficient, energy-saving regeneration equipment, closed-loop automated sand-addition systems, and cutting-edge dust and exhaust gas treatment technologies. The application of these technologies and equipment, combined with a fully closed-loop system for handling casting waste, has not only significantly reduced enterprises’ overall energy consumption and pollutant emissions but has also effectively addressed the longstanding environmental challenges faced by traditional casting firms—providing a practical and viable pathway for the industry’s transformation and upgrade. Meanwhile, Chen, Chairman of the Casting Association, provided a detailed overview of his company’s eco-friendly and energy-efficient equipment, covering the technology principles behind the devices, their real-world application outcomes, and the critical role they play in cutting energy costs, minimizing pollution, and enhancing both efficiency and profitability.

At the symposium, government leaders and representatives from the business community engaged in an in-depth exchange on the current state of the casting industry, the challenges it faces, and its future development directions. Leaders from Anhui Xinwu Economic Development Zone highly praised Liujing Technology Group for its remarkable achievements in the comprehensive utilization of casting waste, expressing their hope that the insights gained from this visit will serve as a valuable reference for revitalizing and upgrading the casting industry within the Xinwu Economic Development Zone.

This visit and inspection by the leaders of Anhui Xinwu Economic Development Zone not only deepened the exchange and cooperation between the two regions in the casting industry but also injected new momentum into promoting green development and facilitating the industry's transformation and upgrading. Moving forward, Liujing Technology Group will continue to leverage its technological strengths to contribute even more to the sustainable growth of the casting sector.
