As an entrepreneur, he builds his brand with stringent quality and drives development through persistent innovation. As a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), he cares deeply about people’s livelihood, offers well-grounded suggestions for governance, and actively engages in the high-quality development drive of Liyang. He is Ren Wenqiang, Chairman of Liujing Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Member of the Standing Committee of the 16th Liyang Municipal Committee of the CPPCC. An entrepreneur originally from northern Shaanxi, he has blazed a distinctive path that integrates industrial development with social responsibility.
At the age of 18, he left his hometown to seek opportunities in Beijing. At 25, he stepped into the material manufacturing industry as a sales professional. Breaking free from his comfort zone at 33, he founded Liujing Technology in Liuzhou, and at 39, he established production facilities in Zhuze Town. Looking back on his life journey, pioneering and enterprising spirit has always been his underlying keynote, with continuous learning serving as the enduring driving force.
Having dropped out of school at an early age to work, Ren Wenqiang was determined to make up for his lost educational opportunities. When he first arrived in Beijing in 1997, he turned workshops into his new classrooms. Working 12-hour shifts as a production operator at a sanitary products company, he devoted his spare time to self-study. He soon grew from an easily replaceable frontline worker into a skilled technician with professional expertise. In 2002, he joined an enterprise in Zhejiang, nearly doubling his income. Yet substantial salary growth never stopped him from forging ahead. In 2004, he chose to embrace new challenges and returned to Beijing to engage in material manufacturing sales. Through constant learning, he became an industry expert and developed a keen interest in corporate management. While working full-time, he enrolled in the Integrated Practical Management (IPM) program at HKU ICB to systematically study business operation and corporate governance. After graduating in 2012, he resigned from his high-paying sales position and co-founded Liujing Technology in Liuzhou, focusing on supplying foundry silica sand materials.
The steady rise of Liujing Technology has always kept pace with national development strategies. In the early years of his entrepreneurship, global foundry orders flooded into China, bringing robust development dividends to the entire sector. With forward-thinking vision, however, Ren Wenqiang keenly identified hidden challenges amid the industry’s rapid expansion. Coincidentally, as he gained clear insight into the industry’s future trends, the state issued the 13th Five-Year Development Plan for the Foundry Industry. Seizing the opportunity of the national green foundry transformation initiative, he led Liujing Technology in a bold strategic upgrade in 2017, transforming the enterprise from a single material supplier into an eco-friendly solution provider specializing in comprehensive disposal of foundry solid waste. The company has also launched in-depth research cooperation with Huazhong University of Science and Technology and other institutions to upgrade the technical content and core competitiveness of its products.
The foundry industry serves as the pillar economy of Zhuze Town, yet the comprehensive disposal of industrial solid waste had long remained a missing link in the local industrial chain. In 2018, the investment promotion team of Zhuze Town conducted recruitment tours in Liuzhou and discovered that Liujing Technology’s innovative development philosophy aligned perfectly with Zhuze’s positioning as a "National Green Foundry Town". Backed by over 100 authorized patents and outstanding innovative strength, the enterprise further consolidated the town’s determination to introduce the project.
Liyang’s superior geographical location and sound ecological environment not only prompted Ren Wenqiang to build production bases in Zhuze Town but also strengthened his resolve to relocate the company’s headquarters here. Today, Liujing Technology operates sound subsidiaries in Changchun, Liyang, Liuzhou, Hefei and Weifang. It has evolved into a leading domestic high-tech enterprise with independent intellectual property rights and comprehensive processing capabilities for both organic and inorganic waste foundry sand. Since 2018, the company’s taxable sales revenue has maintained an annual growth rate of over 50%, establishing itself as a benchmark brand in silica sand value-added manufacturing and circular utilization.
Beyond corporate development, the leader of this high-tech enterprise has always embraced social responsibility with profound compassion. Starting in 2015, he funded eight underprivileged students in Guangxi, supporting them through their studies until they successfully graduated from universities. After settling in Liyang in 2018, he extended his charity work to Zhuze Town, providing financial assistance to 13 disadvantaged students at primary and secondary schools, empowering them with knowledge to embrace a better future.
From enterprise leader to CPPCC member, Ren Wenqiang shoulders heavier social missions. He often reminds himself that while steering corporate development, he must continuously improve his capabilities to fulfill the duties of a new-era CPPCC member. Since taking office as a member of the 16th Liyang Municipal CPPCC in 2021, he has combined his industrial experience with local development realities, submitting key proposals including Suggestions on Comprehensively Promoting the Recycling of Foundry Waste Sand in Liyang and Proposals on Key Support for Pre-listed Local Enterprises, which have received high attention and effective responses from relevant government departments. Additionally, he has actively voiced public opinions on people’s livelihood issues such as local transportation optimization and industrial park construction in Zhuze Town, practicing his duties with in-depth, high-standard and result-oriented performance.
Today, Liyang has become Ren Wenqiang’s second hometown. “I will continue to grow my enterprise, actively offer suggestions for governance, reflect the voices of the general public, and serve as a solid bridge linking the Party, the government and the people,” Ren Wenqiang stated firmly. Moving forward, he will continue to leverage his professional strengths, deliver warmth to people’s livelihood through CPPCC duties, and fuel high-quality local development with solid performance in fulfilling his social responsibilities.
